The Greeks have sailed away and left behind a huge wooden horse. While the Trojans argue over it, Laocoön comes running down from the citadel: are they mad? Either men are hidden inside, or it is an engine built against their walls. He hurls his spear into its belly, and the hollow wood groans.
Then, as he sacrifices a bull to Neptune, two serpents swim in from Tenedos, kill his sons and crush him at the altar. Terrified, the Trojans break open their walls and drag the horse into the city. Solve seven puzzles from Book 2, and the last word names those Laocoön feared even when they bring gifts.
Crossword — the horse, the serpents and the walls of Troy.
Anagrams — unscramble seven words from Laocoön's warning and death.
Cipher — decode a message in Latin, then answer the riddle it asks.
Matching — the passive of trahō, dūcō and accipiō, present and perfect.
Picture Count — reassemble the scene at the altar, then count what you see.
Odd One Out — find the word that doesn't belong in each row to build the story, then answer questions about it.
Final Rebus — one clue from every lock. Their first letters spell the final word.
Every answer box checks itself. Spelling and capitals are forgiving, and macrons are never needed.
Seventeen words from the horse and the serpents. Every clue gives the English meaning; you supply the Latin. Fill the grid — every crossing letter must agree both ways. Five cells are marked in red: once the grid is solved, their letters unscramble into one more word.

Quidquid id est, timeō Danaōs et dōna ferentēs: whatever it is, I fear the Greeks, even bringing gifts. Laocoön was right, and the Trojans dragged the horse in all the same.
