The Aqueducts of Bithynia

Aquae Bīthȳniae

As Trajan's governor of Bithynia, Pliny finds that Nicomedia has poured millions of sesterces into two aqueducts and finished neither, while the colony of Sinope has no good water at all. He writes to the emperor for advice and for engineers.

An AP® Latin escape room on Pliny's letters 10.37 and 10.90, using the letters' own vocabulary: a crossword, anagrams, a Latin cipher, the passive and the gerundive of obligation, a picture count, an odd-one-out story and a final rebus.
