Flight from Misenum

Fuga Mīsēnō

The earth shakes, the sea is sucked back from the shore and a black cloud split by fire comes down over the bay. The seventeen-year-old Pliny will not leave his mother, and the two of them flee Misenum with the crowd into a darkness worse than any night.

An AP® Latin escape room on Pliny's letter 6.20, using the letter's own vocabulary: a crossword, anagrams, a Latin cipher, verb tenses, a picture count, an odd-one-out story and a final rebus.
