The Haunted House

Domus Īnfāmis

In Athens there is a large house that no one will live in. At night comes the clank of iron and the rattle of chains, and then a phantom of a filthy old man in shackles. The philosopher Athenodorus rents it anyway, sits down to write, and waits.

An AP® Latin escape room on Pliny's ghost story, letter 7.27, using the letter's own vocabulary: a crossword, anagrams, a Latin cipher, present, perfect and future infinitives, a picture count, an odd-one-out story and a final rebus.
