Dido reproaching Aeneas on a palace terrace, with Mercury flying overhead and ships being loaded in the harbour

AP® Latin · Aeneid 4.305–361

The Quarrel

Perfide!

Dido has found out that the fleet is being made ready. She calls Aeneas a traitor and begs him by her tears to stay. He answers that he made no marriage vows, and that he seeks Italy not of his own will.

An AP® Latin escape room on Vergil's Aeneid, the speeches of Dido and Aeneas, 4.305–361, using the passage's own vocabulary: a crossword, anagrams, a Latin cipher, imperatives, a picture count, an odd-one-out story and a final rebus.
