Aeneas stretching his hands to the sky on a storm-tossed ship, with oars floating and three more ships under lightning

AP® Latin · Aeneid 1.88–107, 496–512

The Storm and the Queen

Tempestās et Rēgīna

Juno's storm snatches the daylight from the Trojans' eyes, and Aeneas, cold with fear, wishes he had died at Troy. Washed up in Africa, he watches Dido arrive at Juno's temple, as lovely as Diana among her dancers.

An AP® Latin escape room on Vergil's Aeneid, the storm and Dido's entrance, 1.88–107 and 1.496–512, using the passage's own vocabulary: a crossword, anagrams, a Latin cipher, present, perfect and future participles, a picture count, an odd-one-out story and a final rebus.
